Welcome to my Breakthrough Challenge fundraising page.  I ride in memory of my husband Mike, who I heartbreakingly lost to glioblastoma last year.  I will forever be grateful for the compassionate care that he received from his amazing oncologist at Penn's Abramson Cancer Center, a doctor who was always up on the latest in brain science and who remains at the forefront of groundbreaking brain cancer research.   

Mike and I loved to bike together and, just for fun a few years ago, we rode the 25-mile Breakthrough Challenge bike route with friends and now teammates Bo and Caroline on a beautiful weekend day.  It will be difficult to ride the route again without him physically by my side, but it's a wonderful way to honor his memory and to support research that will one day allow people with similar diagnoses to continue to ride alongside their spouses and friends. 

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the Abramson Cancer Center's research fund today.   They do unbelievable work and need funding today more than ever.  Every dollar counts and, for a limited time, each dollar can count double because of the generous $50,000 match being offered by the Zent Family Foundation.   Your Breakthrough Challenge donation may also be eligible for an employer matching donation. Let's not leave any potential research dollars on the table.
